Who Can Apply for These Medical Officer Positions
To be eligible, candidates must hold an MBBS degree from a recognized university and have completed a compulsory one-year rotatory internship. Registration with a State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India (now National Medical Commission) is mandatory. Additionally, candidates should have either completed a six-month house job in any medical department or possess at least six months of post-qualification work experience. The vacancies include one reserved for OBC candidates in the Medical Officer-MCH role, and two posts under PMABHIM reserved as one SC backlog and one OBC backlog.
