Selection ProcedureCRE-5 follows a multi-stage recruitment process. Selection involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) as the primary stage, followed by a Skill Test (for applicable post groups), choice/preference exercise by qualified candidates, seat allocation in order of merit, and document verification by the respective institute.
Q: What is the exam pattern for CRE-5?
The CBT consists of 100 MCQs of 400 marks to be completed in 90 minutes, divided into five sections of 20 questions each. There is a negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. The paper covers 20 questions on General Knowledge, Aptitude & Computer, and 80 domain-specific questions.
Q: Is there any relaxation for PwBD candidates in age and qualifying marks?
Yes. PwBD candidates with benchmark disability (minimum 40%) receive an age relaxation of 10 years irrespective of their category. The qualifying marks for PwBD candidates are 30%, regardless of which category they belong to. Scribes and compensatory time are also available as per applicable government rules.
