| Selection Procedure | A merit list will be prepared based on percentage marks in the essential qualification, desirable qualifications, merit, and experience. Only 1:5 shortlisted candidates per post (based on merit and experience) will be called for a physical interview. In case of a tie in qualifying marks, preference is given to candidates with additional desirable qualifications. Salary / Pay Scale
The notification states that salary and other allowances will be paid as per AIIMS/ICMR/Government of India guidelines. A specific consolidated pay scale figure for each post has not been mentioned in the official notice, so candidates should treat salary as per applicable ICMR project norms rather than a fixed published number. TA/DA for field survey travel will be provided as per Government of India rules, strictly on a reimbursement basis after submission of bills and required proformas; there is no provision for advance payment for travel, accommodation, or any other expense.

Important Instructions
These posts are only for field visits and house-to-house survey in various states, not for office-based work at CDER, AIIMS New Delhi. Selected candidates must travel extensively across states with no arrangement for returning to Delhi between field visits. This is a temporary, contractual position initially up to 31 March 2027, extendable subject to project requirement and funding; performance is reviewed every 30 days and the contract may be terminated with one day's notice if unsatisfactory. Full-time availability during active fieldwork is mandatory; refusal to travel or work is treated as refusal to work, leading to termination without salary, reimbursement, or experience certificate. Tuition, coaching, professional practice, or paid/unpaid consultations are strictly banned during the employment period. No leave is permitted during travel/active field survey days, except in emergency medical conditions. Resignation after joining requires a 15 day notice period, or deposit of salary in lieu of notice. Valid experience certificates from employers are mandatory for all claimed work experience. Applications from candidates without the essential qualification will be rejected automatically. Any canvassing or attempt to influence the selection process will lead to summary rejection. Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the offer letter, failing which the offer stands automatically cancelled; only candidates who can join immediately should apply. The waiting list will remain valid for 6 months. Submission of documents by both Google Form and post is mandatory; incomplete applications will be rejected.
