About This Recruitment
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Deoghar is inviting applications for 147 Senior Resident (Non-Academic) positions across 39 clinical, pre-clinical, and para-clinical departments. This recruitment operates on a rolling basis, meaning applications will be accepted in cycles. For the first cycle, the last date to submit your applications, both in soft and hard copy, is 04 August 2026. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must prepare to submit their applications accordingly.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for these positions, you must hold a Postgraduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB/MDS) from a recognized University or Institute. Those with a DNB in broad specialties need to provide proof of its equivalence to MD/MS. Specifically, candidates applying for the Department of Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank should have an MD or DNB in that specialty. Eligibility regarding age, educational qualifications, and experience will be assessed on the interview date.
Salary
Selected Senior Residents will be placed in Level 11 of the Pay Matrix, receiving an entry salary of ₹67,700 per month. Additional allowances, including the Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), will also be provided.

- Date of Birth and Class X/XII Certificates
- Aadhaar Card
- Caste certificates if applicable (SC/ST/EWS/OBC)
- MBBS mark sheets and degree certificate
- MD/MS/DNB mark sheets and degree certificate
- Medical Registration Certificates
- NOC from current employer if applicable
- Relevant experience certificates
- FMGE certificate for foreign medical graduates
