Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Senior Resident positions must hold relevant postgraduate qualifications such as MD, MS, or DNB in the concerned specialty. The maximum age limit is set at 45 years as of August 31, 2026. There are age relaxations available for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC), as well as for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). These relaxations extend up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and between 10 to 15 years for PwBD candidates depending on their category.

Application Process
To apply for the Senior Resident positions at AIIMS Patna, candidates must attend the walk-in interviews at the specified venue. There is no online application process or application fee associated with these positions. Ensure you bring all necessary documents, including proof of your qualifications, to the interview. The venue for the interviews is the Committee Room, Admin Building at AIIMS Patna. Attending on any of the interview dates—September 5, 12, 19, or 26, 2026—will allow you to be considered for the available posts.
