Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Consultant positions, candidates must be retired Short Service Commission Officers from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, or Coast Guard. A graduate degree from a recognized university is mandatory, along with completion of a Basic Air Traffic Control course and a minimum of five years of cumulative ATC experience, including at least one year at a Joint User Defence Airfield. This experience ensures that candidates have the necessary background to effectively contribute to the Air Traffic Services unit.

Age and Other Conditions
Candidates should not exceed 50 years of age as of the last date for application submission, which is 1 October 2026. Additionally, the gap between retirement from the armed forces and the application deadline should not be more than six years. If a contract extension is granted, it cannot extend beyond 55 years of age. This ensures that consultants are both experienced and fit for the responsibilities they will undertake.
