The Dr. A. Lakshmipathi Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (ALRARI) is inviting candidates for a walk-in interview to fill the position of Yoga Therapist. This is a contract role under a research project focusing on integrating yoga with Ayurveda treatment for musculoskeletal conditions. The interview will take place on 17 October 2026 in Chennai. You can appear directly for the screening between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 38,000. Since this is a single vacancy post, the competition will be focused and specific.
Who Can Apply
Candidates interested in the Yoga Therapist position should have a degree in Yoga or Yoga and Naturopathy with at least 55% marks from a recognized university, along with two years of experience in yoga therapy at a reputable institute or hospital. Alternatively, graduates with a one-year diploma in Yoga and a minimum of five years of practical yoga experience in a reputed yoga institute or hospital are also eligible. Additionally, applicants must hold a Level II (Therapy Level) Certificate from the Yoga Certification Board and demonstrate practical yoga skills during a skill test. This ensures that candidates are both academically qualified and practically skilled for the role.
