Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Veterinary Field Assistant posts, candidates must meet specific educational and residency requirements. You need to have completed the full-time Higher Secondary (HSSLC) examination in the Science stream, with Biology as one of your subjects from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam, providing a valid Permanent Resident Certificate.

Full-time HSSLC (Class 12) examination pass in Science stream with Biology as one of the subjects, from a recognized Board/Council/University
Citizenship
Must be an Indian citizen as defined under Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India
Domicile
Must be a permanent resident of the State of Assam; a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for educational purposes must be uploaded as proof of domicile
PwBD Category
Must possess a Benchmark Disability of 40% or more, supported by a certificate from the competent authority
Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/MOBC)
Must be issued by the Government of Assam competent authority, clearly indicating the candidate's caste, the Act/order recognizing it as SC/ST/OBC/MOBC, and the candidate's village/town of ordinary residence
Age Relaxation
Certain candidates may be eligible for age relaxation based on specific categories. This includes a 5-year relaxation for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, and 2 years for ex-servicemen.

Exam Structure
The selection will be based on a written examination consisting of multiple subjects. Candidates should prepare for a total of 100 questions, which will cover Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Awareness. The exam will last for 120 minutes.
