Who Can Apply
Candidates applying for these posts must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science (B.F.Sc.) from a college affiliated with an Agricultural University. This university should be recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Regarding age limits, applicants must be at least 21 years old as of 1 August 2026. The maximum age varies by category: unreserved men can apply up to 37 years, while unreserved women have a relaxation up to 40 years. Other categories such as Backward Class (BC), Extremely Backward Class (EBC), Scheduled Castes (SC), and Scheduled Tribes (ST) also have age relaxations, with SC/ST candidates eligible up to 42 years. Keep in mind there are specific horizontal reservations for women and persons with disabilities within the total vacancies.
