CMTI Bengaluru Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview for 71 Posts

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply. Mere possession of the required qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview; CMTI reserves the right to adopt its own shortlisting method. Desirable qualifications and specific skill requirements vary for each of the multiple sub-posts within the Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, and Project Assistant categories - candidates should check the exact desirable criteria for their intended post in the full notification. First Class is defined as an aggregate of 60% marks across all semesters of the qualifying examination. Candidates from universities awarding CGPA/SGPA must convert this to a percentage using their university's formula.

The stipend varies depending on the position. Senior Project Associates will receive ₹42,000 per month, while Project Associates-I and II earn ₹25,000 and ₹28,000, respectively, with potential increases for NET/GATE qualified candidates. Project Assistants and Data Entry Operators will earn between ₹18,000 and ₹20,000 monthly. All stipend figures are consolidated, and House Rent Allowance (HRA) is paid at 30% of the stipend. It's crucial to note that no other benefits are provided for these posts.

Selection is through Walk-in Interview. Registration for each post is accepted only on its designated interview date between 09:00 hrs and 09:30 hrs at the CMTI campus. Meeting the minimum qualification does not guarantee an interview call; CMTI is not obliged to shortlist every candidate who meets the minimum requirement.

Candidates must bring a duly filled application in the prescribed format along with a valid email ID, all original certificates, and mark sheets for verification. Additionally, a photocopy of each document is required. Candidates from reserved categories should provide valid caste certificates. Any discrepancies in documentation may lead to disqualification.
