CSIR NEIST Security Officer Recruitment Notification 2026 for 1 Post

The North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR NEIST) is looking to fill one vacancy for the position of Security Officer. This role is open to candidates with prior service as Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) at the rank of Subedar or above, or equivalent ranks in other paramilitary forces, accompanied by substantial security experience. The selected candidate will be employed on a full-time basis and will receive a salary in the range of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400.

You can apply for the Security Officer position if you have served as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) with the rank of Subedar or higher, or hold an equivalent rank in paramilitary forces such as CRPF, BSF, or ITBP. Candidates must have at least 10 years of security-related experience. For Short Service Commissioned Officers and Assistant Commandants in these forces, a minimum of 5 years’ experience is required. The maximum age limit is 35 years, so applicants should ensure they meet this criterion as of the application date.
