Common Mistakes to Avoid in Delhi Higher Judicial Service Exam 2026
Many candidates make avoidable errors while applying for the Delhi HJS Vacancy 2026 that can lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process. Applying without completing 7 years of continuous practice as an Advocate as on 15 July 2026, which is the mandatory eligibility requirement. Sending the printout of the online application form to the High Court of Delhi, which is explicitly not required and should not be done. Using eraser or whitener on the OMR Answer Sheet during the Preliminary Examination, which leads to automatic negative marking of 0.25 marks. Darkening more than one oval per question on the OMR sheet, as multiple marking also attracts negative marking of 0.25 marks per question. PwD candidates failing to submit the Certificate of Limitation in Writing (Annexure A or C) at least 3 days before the examination date, which will result in denial of scribe/compensatory time facility.
