Eligibility Criteria

The notification does not specify a separate nationality clause; however, candidates applying under SC/ST/OBC-Non-Creamy Layer categories must produce caste certificates in the prescribed format issued by a competent authority. In addition to the qualification, the following conditions apply to all applicants: Only fresh pass-out candidates who completed their respective courses in 2024, 2025, or 2026 can apply. Graduate/Diploma degree holders who have training or job experience of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification are NOT eligible to be engaged as an apprentice under the Apprentices Act. Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal (nats.education.gov.in).
