About This Recruitment
The Research Centre Imarat (RCI) under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) is offering apprenticeship opportunities for a one-year training period. There are 195 vacancies spread across Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and Trade (ITI) Apprentices. The apprenticeships are conducted under the Apprentices Act, providing practical exposure in various engineering and technical disciplines at RCI’s facility in Hyderabad. Who Can Apply
Candidates who have completed their B.E. or B.Tech degree in specified engineering streams such as Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Safety, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering can apply as Graduate Apprentices. Those holding a Diploma in similar disciplines are eligible for the Technician Apprentice posts. Trade Apprenticeship is open to ITI pass-outs in trades like Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronic Mechanic, Electrician, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA), Draughtsman (Mechanical), or Grinder. There are no specific age limits mentioned, but candidates should note the minimum age reckoning date is 01 September 2026. The total vacancies are around 195, though this number may change slightly.
