Eligibility Explained
To apply for either the Sweeper/Safai Karamchari or Chowkidar posts, candidates must have passed Matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. No prior work experience is required for these positions. Age relaxations are available as per government norms: five years for SC/ST, three years for OBC, and additional relaxations for persons with disabilities. Ex-servicemen also receive age concessions, up to a maximum age limit of 55 years. There is no age relaxation for government employees under the relevant rules.
