Salary and Remuneration for EIL Fixed Term Engineers 2026

Terms and Conditions of EIL Fixed Term Employment
Before applying, candidates must be aware of the contractual nature of this engagement. EIL's fixed term employment comes with specific conditions that differ from permanent PSU roles. The engagement is purely on a fixed term basis , initially for 2 years , extendable up to a maximum of 3 years from the date of joining, subject to satisfactory performance The engagement will automatically terminate on the expiry of the term unless extended Candidates may be required to work anywhere in India and abroad Only medically fit candidates will be permitted to join No claim for regular/permanent appointment in EIL shall be entertained on the basis of fixed term service Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the announcement of results
Place of Posting
The primary place of posting for all selected candidates will be in the National Capital Region (NCR) . However, EIL may deploy engineers anywhere in India or abroad based on project and organizational requirements.
