What is confirmed from the official source: all candidates must clear a qualifying Punjabi language test equivalent to Matriculation standard with a minimum of 50% marks , in addition to any competitive examination/proficiency/physical test applicable to the post. Failure to secure 50% marks in the Punjabi language test disqualifies the candidate from the next stage.

Reservation benefits are available only to residents of Punjab, as per Punjab Government rules. Category certificates must be as per Punjab Government instructions. A recent Domicile/Residence Certificate (not older than 5 years as on the last date of application) is mandatory for all candidates claiming reservation. Original category certificates must be produced during document verification, failing which the claimed category will not be considered.

Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms with separate fee and enclosures for each post. All academic credentials must be from a recognized Board/University/Institution. All required certificates/documents must have been issued on or before the last date of application submission. Selected candidates for Sr. No. 1 to 5 must execute a bond at the time of joining, as per the terms available on the University website. Probation period for all posts is three years, as per Punjab Government rules. Selected candidates may be posted at the Main campus, Outstations, Outside Colleges/Research Stations/KVKs, and can be deputed for night duty on a rotational basis. Selected candidates must undergo mandatory medical fitness tests and Character and Antecedents verification before joining. Application forms without prescribed fee, documents, photographs or signatures will be treated as incomplete and rejected. No correction or addition of documents will be entertained after the last date of submission. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any examination, test or document verification. The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post at any stage, as reiterated in Corrigendum-I.
