HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Educational Qualification

Graduate in Agriculture, Commerce, Biology, Economics, or Chemistry with ten years' experience in handling and preservation of agricultural produce in a managerial capacity in a Government Department, Public Sector Undertaking, or a Commercial Organization of repute, on a post carrying pay scale equivalent to Assistant Manager (Quality Control) (PB-2, 9300-34800+4000, Pay Level-6) in the Corporation. Post-graduates require seven years' experience. Preference is given to candidates holding an MBA (Marketing) degree. Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matriculation, or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects. Note: Qualifications for each post are as per the relevant Service Rules. Equivalent qualification claims will not be considered unless specified in the relevant Service Rules.

HPSC District Manager Recruitment 2026: Reservation Policy

The benefit of reservation is given only to DSC/OSC/BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwBD category candidates who are Residents/Domiciles of Haryana State. BC-A/BC-B candidates who fall within the Creamy Layer as per Haryana Government notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW dated 16.07.2024 are not eligible for reservation benefit and must apply under the General category. Scheduled Caste candidates must submit the latest DSC/OSC certificate as per notification No. 22/163/2024-5HR-II dated 13.11.2024. Women candidates seeking reservation must submit the caste certificate issued from the parental (father's) side only; certificates from the in-laws' (husband's) side will not be entertained. BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS certificates must be issued on or before the closing date, valid for the financial year 2026-27 (1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027), and issued after 01.04.2026. Candidates of reserved categories of Haryana for which no post is reserved/available can apply against General/UR category posts, fulfilling all General category eligibility conditions except fee, and must attach a scanned copy of their Caste Certificate and Resident of Haryana Certificate for fee concession. Reservation benefit under ESM/DESM category is as per Haryana Government notification No. 01/10/2021-2HR-III dated 25.05.2026. 2% reservation for children/grandchildren of Freedom Fighters (FF/DFF) of Haryana is admissible as per notification Nos. 22/49/2021-1GS-III dated 27.10.2021 and 26.04.2022, subject to conditions specified in the notification.

Other Important Eligibility Conditions

Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. The eligibility of a candidate with regard to age, educational qualifications, and experience shall be determined on the closing date fixed for submission of online application forms. No certificate or document issued after the closing date will be accepted by the Commission at any stage of the selection process. Part-time experience will not be considered. Only experience acquired after the minimum essential qualification will be considered. Candidates shall declare/disclose all pending FIRs, criminal cases, allegations of misconduct, disciplinary proceedings, investigations, and civil cases known to them. The Matriculation certificate or equivalent academic certificate is the only acceptable document for evidence of age/date of birth.

NotesNote: Age relaxation for DSC/OSC/BC-A (Non-Creamy Layer)/BC-B (Non-Creamy Layer)/ESM category candidates is admissible only where the posts are reserved for that category. The upper age limit for any category (except Ex-servicemen) availing relaxation shall not exceed 52 years.
