ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (CIRCOT), Mumbai has issued notification F.No.: A-12024/3/2026-Adm-I-CIRCOT dated 02.07.2026 for engagement of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) under the project “Nutraceutical Profiling and Optimization of Rice-Based Low-Alcoholic Beverages from North East Regions of India: Health Implications and Commercial Potential”. Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline. Note: Candidates with 3 years Bachelor’s degree must have NET qualification and 2 years research experience (as per ICAR/DST guidelines). Desirable Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Sciences with experience in molecular biology tools. Age Limit: 35 years for male and 40 years for female (relaxation as per GOI rules: 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PH).

Nutraceutical profiling and optimization of rice-based low-alcoholic beverages. Identification and characterization of bioactive compounds through HPLC. Identification and characterization of microbial communities using molecular biology techniques. Interpretation of results, writing research reports, and any other work assigned by PI.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The position is purely temporary and contractual. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate. Selected candidate must join immediately.
