IGRUA Ground Instructor Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions. Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
| Educational Qualification | Post-Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University. |

| Professional Qualification / Experience | Held or holding CPL/ATPL; OR Air Traffic Controller from AAI/Defence Forces; OR Minimum 10 years professional experience in civil aviation regulatory domain, airline operations, or aviation safety management. |
| Teaching Experience | Minimum 05 years teaching/instructional experience in aviation-related subjects at DGCA approved Flying Training Organisations, Defence Aviation Training Establishments, Universities/Colleges offering aviation programmes, or AAI training centres. |

IGRUA Ground Instructor Recruitment 2026 - Desirable Qualifications
Ph.D. in Aviation Science, Aviation Law, Transport Management, or related discipline. Published research papers/articles on aviation regulations or safety management. DGCA examination setting/moderation experience.
IGRUA Ground Instructor Recruitment 2026 - Key Responsibilities
Deliver theoretical training on Air Regulations, Rules of the Air, Licensing Requirements, Flight Rules, and ICAO Annexes. Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and question banks as per DGCA CARs. Conduct internal assessments and assist in DGCA exam preparation. Maintain training records, student performance reports, and compliance documentation. Update course content with latest DGCA/ICAO regulatory changes. Coordinate with Chief Ground Instructor and Flight Instructors for integrated training. Ensure adherence to IGRUA standards of training, discipline, and safety.
