For the position of Associate Professor: A Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in the relevant branch, with a solid academic record throughout. Candidates must have a good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in the Ph.D. coursework where applicable, along with a minimum of 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, out of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor (pay level 12) in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/IISERs, or other institutes of national importance, or equivalent international institutions. Candidates must demonstrate substantial independent research experience, including mentorship of Ph.D. students, publications in reputable journals and conferences, patents, and other recognized professional contributions. For the Professor position: A Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) in the relevant branch and a commendable academic record throughout. Candidates must have a good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in Ph.D. coursework where applicable, along with a minimum of 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, out of which at least 4 years must be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs/IISc Bangalore/IIMs/IISERs, or equivalent institutes of national importance or international standards. Candidates should exhibit leadership in research, particularly in a specific area of expertise, demonstrated by mentorship of Ph.D. students, a robust record of publications in respected journals and conferences, patents, and other recognized professional activities.

For Associate Professor: Pay Level 13A2 (Minimum Basic Pay ₹ 1,39,600/-) For Professor: Pay Level 14A (Minimum Basic Pay ₹ 1,59,100/-)
