Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet specific age requirements to apply. General candidates should be a maximum of 26 years old, while SC/ST candidates can be up to 31 years, and OBC candidates up to 29 years. Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Agniveers receive age relaxations, allowing them to add their period of service plus an additional three years, capping at 45 years. For Agniveers, the maximum age limit is 21 years, with a similar relaxation policy.

Pay Scale and Probation
The selected candidates will receive a salary following the Subordinate Staff Cadre pay scale, ranging from ₹19,500 up to ₹37,815 over time based on the 12th Bipartite Settlement. Salary fixation will depend on the last drawn salary during defence service, alongside additional components per industry-wide agreements. There’s a probation period of six months with confirmation upon successful completion of this period.

Selection Process
Candidates will undergo several assessments as part of the selection process. The Online Objective Test will cover subjects like English language knowledge and arithmetic skills, with a total of 80 marks available. Additionally, a Physical Fitness Test will evaluate candidates through various exercises such as push-ups and a 1-kilometre run.

Physical Fitness Test
Candidates must also pass a Physical Fitness Test to qualify for the position. This will assess upper body strength, core body muscle strength, and endurance through various activities such as push-ups and sit-ups. A total score of 65 out of 100 is required to pass.
