The posts at UIET Janglote are non-transferable and are exclusively for the UIET, Janglote campus. The number of vacancies shown is tentative and may increase or decrease at the time of selection.

Eligibility requirements differ by post. All candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must upload a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority. Candidates should read the qualification requirements carefully before applying, as applications will be screened strictly on the basis of information submitted online. Where a university follows a grading system, Grade "B" on the seven-point scale (grade point 3.50–4.49) is treated as equivalent to 55%. Candidates who have not yet received their Degree Certificate may upload a Provisional Degree or Final Semester Mark Sheet at the time of application but must produce the original Degree at document verification. The minimum age for all candidates is 18 years . The maximum age varies by category. Candidates wondering about age relaxation can note that SC/ST/OBC/EWS/RBA/ALC/IB candidates get a relaxation of 3 years over the general limit, while physically challenged candidates can apply up to age 42.

All posts carry pay as per the 7th Pay Commission matrix. The Foreman post carries the highest pay level in this notification at Level-6E (Rs. 35,900–1,13,500) , while Multi-Tasking Staff is at SL1 (Rs. 14,800–47,100) . Selected candidates will be placed on probation for one or two years as per the recommendations of the selection committee.
