JIPMER Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
Each post in the JIPMER 2026 recruitment carries specific educational qualification and experience requirements. Candidates must fulfil all conditions as on the last date of online registration (1 July 2026). Candidates must hold a recognised MBBS degree registered under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with the relevant postgraduate qualification and post-PG experience as per the specialty: Anaesthesiology: M.D. in Anaesthesiology + 3 years post-PG experience in a recognised institution. Cardiology: D.M. in Cardiology. 1 year post-DM experience required only for 2-year or 5-year DM courses; no experience required for 3-year or 6-year DM. Medicine: M.D. in Medicine + 3 years post-PG experience in a recognised institution. Nephrology: D.M. in Nephrology. 1 year post-DM experience required for 2-year or 5-year DM; no experience for 3-year or 6-year DM. Obstetrics & Gynaecology: M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology + 3 years post-PG experience. Orthopaedics: M.S. in Orthopaedics + 3 years post-PG experience. Radio-Diagnosis: M.D. in Radio-Diagnosis + 3 years post-PG experience. Candidates must hold a medical qualification included in Schedule I or II or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, along with 3 years of post-internship experience after completing the 1-year compulsory internship. M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or equivalent from a recognised institute/university. Minimum 2 years of experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health in a recognised institute or hospital. Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) - Central Rehabilitation Register (CRR) is mandatory.

JIPMER Recruitment 2026 - Selection Process
The selection for JIPMER Group A Non-Faculty posts 2026 is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by a Personal Interview. The final merit list is prepared using a combined weightage of both stages. Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme Minimum Qualifying Marks in CBT Shortlisting Ratio for Interview CBT + Personal Interview: 80% weightage to CBT, 20% to Personal Interview. Personal Interview only (if no CBT): 100% weightage to the interview.

JIPMER Recruitment 2026 - Exam Cities
The CBT will be conducted across the following cities. Candidates have no right to claim a centre of their choice; JIPMER will allot the examination centre at its discretion. Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Puducherry, Kakinada, and Tiruchirappalli.
Important Instructions for JIPMER 2026 Applicants
Candidates must read these critical points before and after submitting their online application to avoid rejection or disqualification at any stage: The application once submitted is final . No changes will be entertained under any circumstances. If an error is found, a fresh application with a new fee must be submitted before the closing date; the earlier application stands automatically cancelled. Candidates recruited for a particular JIPMER campus cannot claim transfer to another campus. However, the competent authority reserves the right to transfer candidates if needed. For the post of GDMO , candidates must indicate their order of campus preference (Puducherry, Karaikal, Yanam) at the time of application. This preference is final and cannot be changed at any stage. All updates regarding CBT, interview, and results will be published only on the JIPMER website. Individual letters will not be sent to shortlisted candidates. Candidates must appear for Certificate Verification/Interview at their own cost . No TA/DA will be paid. Mobile phones, calculators, digital watches, and all electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited at the examination centre. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes arising from the recruitment process will be the Union Territory of Puducherry .
