JKSSB Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be Domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format, valid on or before the cut-off date of 30.08.2026. Candidates shortlisted for Document Verification must produce original certificates proving their qualification was obtained strictly on or before the cut-off date.

JKSSB Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
Only one online application is allowed per candidate for the same item number; duplicate applications will lead to cancellation and debarment. Candidates must write their name, date of birth, father's name, and mother's name exactly as recorded in the Matriculation Certificate. No request for change or correction in the application form will be entertained once submitted. Candidates should submit their applications well before the closing date to avoid last-minute technical issues. Applications with blurred or illegible photographs/signatures will be rejected summarily. Candidates must carry two recent passport-size colour photographs and an original photo ID proof to the examination venue. Use of mobile phones, smart watches, smart glasses, AI-enabled devices, or any electronic/communication device is strictly prohibited in the examination hall. PwBD candidates may avail the facility of a scribe and/or compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour, subject to submission of the prescribed certificates (Annexure-B and Annexure-C). No TA/DA will be paid for participation in the written test or document verification.
