Eligibility Explained
Candidates must hold at least an SSLC certificate or an equivalent qualification. Depending on the specific post, they must also have completed a relevant two-year ITI course in Electrical or Fitter Trade, followed by a one-year Apprenticeship Training resulting in a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC). Age Criteria
The age limit for applicants varies according to their category. For General Merit candidates, the maximum age is 40 years. Candidates from categories 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B can apply until the age of 43 years, while SC/ST and Category-1 candidates have a maximum age limit of 45 years. Exam Structure
The selection process includes a competitive written examination consisting of two papers. Paper-1 will cover General Knowledge, including topics like current affairs, Indian Constitution, Karnataka's history and geography, as well as rural development issues. Paper-2 will focus on specific subjects related to the posts, with a total of 100 questions in each paper. Candidates should prepare accordingly, as each paper will have a duration of 2 hours.
