Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) is conducting a walk-in interview to fill one temporary Gym Instructor position. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract for one year, with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 26,000. The job location is at Vellanikkara, Thrissur. Candidates interested in fitness training and possessing the required educational and experience credentials can attend the interview on 26 October 2026. The university prefers applicants who have practical experience working in recognized gyms.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must have a degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or a related field from a UGC-recognized institution, along with at least two years of gym work experience. Alternatively, candidates holding Fitness Trainer Course Certificates or Gym Trainer Course Certificates from nationally recognized bodies with similar work experience are eligible. Those with Bachelor degrees or diplomas in Physical Education (B.P.E, B.P.Ed, B.P.E.S) combined with a Gym/Fitness Instructor diploma from recognized state or central institutions and two years of practical experience can also apply. The age limit for candidates is up to 35 years as of 1 January 2026.
