Madurai Kamaraj University has invited applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a purely temporary basis in the MoES funded research project titled “Studies on Marine Bioactive Metabolites from Deep Sea Actinomycetes and their Molecular Mechanism against Fungal Plant Pathogens”. MKU JRF Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
| Educational Qualification | First Class in M.Sc. Microbial Gene Technology / Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Genomics / Biotechnology and all other Life Science courses. |

| Desirable Qualification | i) Qualification in National Level Tests such as CSIR-NET, UGC-NET, SET, GATE, ASRB-NET. ii) Two years of research experience in Plant Microbe Interaction, Biological control, and Bioactive molecules purification & characterization. |
| Duration | One year or co-terminus with the project. |
Important Instructions
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Fellowship disbursement is subject to the release of grant from MoES. Candidates will be selected based on written test and interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
