MSC Bank Recruitment 2026 – 139 Posts | Trainee Junior Officer, Associate, Typist & Driver

Eligibility requirements differ by post for both educational qualifications and age limits. All candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination with Marathi as one of the subjects and must be domiciled in Maharashtra State (Domicile Certificate is mandatory). Age is calculated as on 01 June 2026. Education: Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Candidates with Bachelors/Masters in Law or JAIIB/CAIIB/MSCIT certifications, or work experience in Treasury/International Banking will be preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Banking field, preferably in Urban/DCC Bank as an Officer (Officer Cadre — first level where Clerk level exists, or second level where it does not). Age Limit: Minimum 23 years – Maximum 35 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1991). Education: Graduate in any discipline with at least 50% marks. Preference for Government Commercial Certificate in Marathi and English typing; proficiency in Computer Applications required. Experience: Not mandatory; preference for candidates with Co-operative Intern experience in StCB/DCC Banks. Age Limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 32 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1994). Education: Graduate in any discipline with Marathi in Matriculation. Must possess Government Commercial Certificate Exam — 30 w.p.m. in Marathi typing and 40 w.p.m. in English typing. Proficiency in Word Processing and Spread Sheet required. Experience: Not mandatory; preference for DTP Operator experience. Preference for Marathi/English stenography course holders. Age Limit: Minimum 21 years – Maximum 28 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1998). Education: Matriculation (S.S.C.) Examination with Marathi as one of the subjects and a valid LMV licence. Experience: Not mandatory. Age Limit: Minimum 18 years – Maximum 30 years (born not earlier than 01 June 1996). Special relaxation: Children of MSC Bank employees get 5 years relaxation on maximum age for Trainee Driver post.

All selected candidates will be engaged as Trainees for 12 months, during which a monthly stipend is paid. After successful training, candidates are placed in the Bank's regular grade with revised emoluments. Post-confirmation, a probation of 6 months follows before permanent absorption.

The selection methodology varies by post but all posts involve an online written examination conducted by IBPS, followed by an additional stage specific to the post. Candidates must score at least 50% (100 marks out of 200) in the written test for officer/associate posts and 50% (60 marks out of 120) for the Driver post to be shortlisted for the next round. The online written test will be held at centres across Maharashtra. Candidates cannot request a change of centre once allotted. Personal Interview and Skill Test will be held at Mumbai. Exam Centres: Mumbai / Navi Mumbai / Thane / MMR Region, Pune, Nagpur, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Nanded, and Kolhapur .

Candidates wondering about post-appointment obligations should note that selected candidates must execute an undertaking on Rs. 500/- stamp paper committing to serve MSC Bank for a minimum of 4 years from the date of joining. In case of default, voluntary resignation, or termination before the expiry of 4 years, the candidate is required to pay Rs. 10,00,000/- (Ten Lakh) as liquidated damages and execute a surety bond for Rs. 1,00,000/- from two income tax payees as sureties.

Many applicants lose their candidature due to avoidable errors during or after the application process. Review the following checklist before submitting your form. Applying for multiple posts: MSC Bank allows one application per candidate. Submit only one application for the post you are most qualified for. Wrong photograph format: Passport-style colour photo against a light background is required. Selfies, group photos, or blurred images will lead to rejection. Signature in CAPITAL LETTERS: Signatures in block/capital letters are strictly rejected. Sign in your normal cursive style with black ink. Missing Domicile Certificate: Only Maharashtra residents can apply. Ensure your Domicile Certificate is valid and ready for document verification. Not checking Marathi in SSC: All posts require Marathi as a subject in Matriculation. Check your mark sheet before applying. Pressing Back/Refresh during payment: After submitting payment information, do not press Back or Refresh. Wait for the server confirmation to avoid double charges. Incomplete scanning of thumb impression: The left thumb impression must be properly scanned and not smudged. A blurred or partial impression can invalidate your application. Not saving the e-Receipt: If an e-Receipt is not generated, the transaction may have failed. Log in again and repeat the payment process.
