NBPGR Project Associate and Assistant Recruitment 2026

The National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) is looking for candidates to fill the roles of Project Associate and Project Assistant in 2026. There are a total of 5 positions available. Interested candidates should ensure they submit their applications by 5 October 2026, as applications received after this date will not be considered. The selection process will involve interviews, which are scheduled for 12 October 2026. The roles are project-based and offer a salary of Rs. 31,000/- plus 27% HRA for Project Associate-I, and Rs. 20,000/- plus 27% HRA for Project Assistants.

For the Project Associate-I position, candidates need a Post Graduate degree in fields such as Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or other related disciplines. Those applying for the Project Assistant must have a B.Sc. in Agriculture or Life Sciences or a 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology or related fields. The maximum age limit is 35 years for Project Associate-I and 50 years for Project Assistant.
