Selection is entirely through Interview, carrying 100% weightage — Technical & Professional proficiency: 65%, Personality, Communication & Competency: 35%. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview: 60% for UR/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD candidates against reserved posts. There is no minimum qualifying mark required in the aggregate. Eligible candidates who successfully submit the online application are provisionally allowed for Document Scrutiny/Verification; only shortlisted/eligible candidates then appear for the Interview. RITES prepares a category-wise merit list of empanelled candidates and shares CVs with the client in order of merit. The final offer of engagement depends on approval of the CV by the client. Selected candidates must be found medically fit as per RITES Rules and Standards of Medical Fitness for the relevant post. Candidates may appear for the interview in either Hindi or English. Engagement is purely on contract basis, initially for one year, extendable until completion of the assignment subject to mutual consent and satisfactory performance. Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India as per company requirement, though this recruitment is specifically for deployment at a client site in Kerala.
