Degree from a recognized university; proficiency in the concerned language; camera-friendly appearance with a good broadcasting voice; correct pronunciation, accent and modulation; knowledge of current regional/Indian/foreign affairs; acquaintance with important personalities in the region, India and abroad. Preferable: journalism background, related professional/academic background, TV/Radio media experience. Desirable: knowledge of English and Hindi, ability to interview people, ability to write and report news including sports.
Assistant News Editor (Editorial Assistant)
Degree from a recognized university; Degree/Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university; minimum 3 years' experience in work relating to news broadcasting/news organization. Desirable: acquaintance with national/international affairs, matriculate in the relevant language.
Assistant Website Editor
Degree from a recognized university; Degree/Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication from a recognized university. Desirable: 2 years' experience in the relevant field, exposure to new media operations or proven aptitude in this field.
Broadcast Assistant
Degree from a recognized university; Degree/Diploma in TV & Radio production from a recognized university. Desirable: matriculate in the relevant language, exposure to the audio-visual medium and proven aptitude in this field.
Video Editor
10+2 from a recognized board; Degree/Diploma in Film & Video Editing from a recognized university; 2 years' experience in the relevant field.
CG Operator
10+2 from a recognized board; Certificate in Computer Application. Desirable: one year's experience in the relevant field.
Stenographer (Assamese)
10+2 from a recognized board; speed of 80 w.p.m. in shorthand and 40 w.p.m. in computer typing.
