The cut-off date for determining eligibility is 31.05.2026. Only permanent and regular employees of SECL who fulfill the following eligibility conditions are eligible to apply. Employees originally appointed in a higher grade are NOT eligible to apply. Only employees in the same grade or below (as per the Cadre Scheme) can apply provided they meet all other eligibility conditions. Educational Qualification Corresponding Admissible Grades/Category for Selection Attendance Requirement: Applicant employees must have a minimum attendance of 240 days (above ground) and 190 days (underground) in calendar year 2025 (June 2025 to December 2025 - 7 months) and 2026 (January 2026 to May 2026 - 5 months), including all sanctioned leave, in the annual year.

This is an internal notification meant ONLY for in-service departmental employees of SECL – no external/direct candidates can apply. Employees originally appointed in a higher grade are NOT eligible to apply; only employees in the same grade or below (as per Cadre Scheme) can apply. The cut-off date for eligibility is 31.05.2026 – all qualifications and service conditions must be completed by this date. Applications of employees whose Annual Confidential Report (ACR) for the actual working period or financial year 2024-2025 is rated as POOR will be summarily rejected and they will not be eligible for further stages. Minimum attendance of 240 days (above ground) and 190 days (underground) in 7 months of calendar year 2025 (June-December 2025) and 5 months of 2026 (January-May 2026) including all sanctioned leave is mandatory. Candidates must not provide incomplete or false information – if detected at any stage, candidature will be cancelled immediately and disciplinary action will be taken. All documents uploaded on the portal must be clearly legible and self-attested – unclear/illegible uploads will lead to application rejection. Employees working in Government Departments, PSUs, or Govt. Funded Agencies must forward applications through proper channel. For OBC-NCL candidates, certificate must be in the prescribed format as per Government of India norms. Selected employees will be posted at various locations of SECL as per vacancy and requirement – selected employees who do not join after posting or request cancellation of selection may be DEBARRED for two (2) years from future selection processes. Candidates appearing for the written test will be eligible for Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) as per CIL/SECL rules. The management reserves the right to modify, withdraw, or cancel this notification at any time due to administrative or other reasons.
