Sikkim PSC Accounts Clerk / Junior Storekeeper Recruitment 2026 – 50 Posts, by 31 July 2026

To apply for SPSC Accounts Clerk / Junior Storekeeper 2026, candidates must be local candidates of Sikkim and must fulfil all prescribed eligibility conditions - including educational qualification and age - as on the closing date of 31 July 2026 . Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply, as per Notification No. 177/GEN/DOP dated 29.01.2026. Candidates must satisfy both of the following requirements: Class XII passed (or equivalent) from any recognized Board, with Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class X (Ten) . Must have knowledge of basic computer applications and possess a certificate or diploma of at least 3 (three) months basic course in computer application , or a higher qualification in computer science / information technology from a recognized board/university. Must be able to read, write, and speak in one of the State languages of Sikkim. Must be conversant with local customs and traditions of Sikkim .

SPSC will conduct a Written Examination for shortlisting candidates. The detailed scheme and pattern of the written examination is available in Appendix - I of the official notification, and the syllabus can be downloaded from the Sikkim Public Service Commission website at www.spsc.sikkim.gov.in . The selection stages are as follows: Written Examination - Candidates are admitted provisionally, subject to satisfying all eligibility conditions. Document Scrutiny - Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for verification of original documents. Shortlisted candidates must submit attested photocopies of all relevant documents on the dates specified by the Commission. Admission to all stages of the examination is purely provisional. If, at any stage during the process, a candidate is found to have not fulfilled the eligibility conditions, their candidature will be cancelled without notice. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the examination. Candidates must bring a Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter's Card, or Driving Licence) along with a valid e-Admit Card at the examination centre.

Selected candidates will be placed in Level-7 of the Pay Matrix of the Sikkim Sub Ordinate Accounts Service under the Finance Department, Government of Sikkim. However, during the period of Probation, Apprenticeship, or Training, pay shall be governed by Notification No. 489/GEN/DOP dated 31.10.2011.

Use a stable internet connection and an updated browser to avoid form timeouts while filling in or submitting the application. Save your login credentials and application number immediately after registration - the SPSC portal communicates all updates through your registered account. Apply early - do not wait until 31 July 2026. Server load increases on the last day, which can cause slowdowns or submission failures.
