Eligibility Criteria
Note: Candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions, including educational qualification and age criteria, as on the closing date of application. Candidates awaiting final results are not eligible to apply, as per Notification No. 177/GEN/DOP dated 29.01.2026. Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak at least one State language of Sikkim. Candidates must be conversant with the local customs and traditions of Sikkim. Applications are invited only from eligible local candidates of Sikkim possessing a valid Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification (COI) issued by the competent authority.

Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in Level-9 of the Pay Matrix under the Sikkim State Subordinate Agriculture Service. During the period of Probation/Apprenticeship/Training, pay shall be governed as per Notification No. 489/GEN/DOP dated 31.10.2011.
Important Instructions
No TA/DA is admissible for attending the examination. Admission to all stages of the examination is purely provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If, at any stage of verification, a candidate is found ineligible, their candidature will be cancelled by the Commission without notice. The Commission will entertain applications for review or RTI/correspondence only after the entire recruitment process is complete. Any further instructions, corrigendum, or addendum will be uploaded only on the official SPSC website. E-Admit cards can be downloaded after a notice is published by the Commission on its official website. Candidates must carry a valid Photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter's Card, or Driving License) along with the e-admit card to the examination centre.
