SSB Assistant Commandants Exam 2026 PST & PET Schedule Notification

The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), operating under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has issued an official notice specifying the dates for the Physical Standard Test and Physical Efficiency Test for candidates appearing in the CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces) Assistant Commandants Examination 2026. These physical tests are scheduled to be conducted from 13 October 2026 through 16 October 2026. Applicants will attend these tests at different designated locations assigned by the CAPFs. The notice was officially published on 25 September 2026 by the Commandant (Recruitment) of the Directorate General, SSB.

Candidates who have registered for the CAPFs Assistant Commandants Examination 2026 need to appear for these physical tests as part of the selection process. The Physical Standard Test typically measures height, chest (for male candidates), and other physical parameters, while the Physical Efficiency Test assesses fitness through running and other endurance activities. Participation in these tests is mandatory to move forward in the recruitment process. Check your official admit card or communication from SSB to confirm your test venue and schedule.

You can verify the detailed schedule and test-related instructions on the official Sashastra Seema Bal website at https://ssb.gov.in or the recruitment portal https://recruitment.ssb.gov.in. It is important to download the official notice and any admit card issued well before the test date. Candidates should reach their respective test centres on time, carrying all necessary documents and following the dress code specified by the authorities. Prepare physically by following a structured fitness routine to meet the standards required for the PST and PET.
