SVSU Recruitment 2026 - Troubleshooting & Common Mistakes

Document completeness: Applications not accompanied by the required self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials will be summarily rejected. Ensure every document is self-attested, indexed, and page-numbered before submission. Envelope labelling: Always mention the post name, subject/discipline, and post code on the outer envelope exactly as instructed. Missing this detail can cause processing delays. Proper channel requirement: Candidates in active service must route their application through their employer. If the forwarded application is delayed for any reason, carry the NOC and Vigilance Clearance Certificate in a sealed envelope to the interview - failure to do so will result in disqualification. Advance copy: Sending an advance copy of your application directly to SVSU is permitted and recommended, but it does not substitute for the formally forwarded application. Last-day submission: Avoid submitting close to the deadline. Postal delays are not accepted as a valid reason for late receipt. If couriering, confirm the delivery date with your courier service in advance. APAR/ACR submissions: Ensure your employer attaches APARs/SARs/ACRs for all five preceding years. Missing even one year's report can invalidate your application at the screening stage. Email submissions not valid: The university explicitly states that applications received through email will not be considered. Only physical applications sent to the specified address are accepted.
