Telangana Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - 190 Anganwadi Teacher & Helper Posts in Kamareddy District

Candidates must have passed the Intermediate examination. For the Anganwadi Helper (Ayah) post, if sufficient Intermediate-qualified applicants are not available at a location, candidates who have passed the 10th class (SSC) will be considered. Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 01-07-2026 . Applicants must be permanent local residents of the Anganwadi centre they are applying for. Rural areas: only candidates belonging to that Gram Panchayat are eligible. Urban areas: only candidates belonging to that Ward are eligible. For Anganwadi centres located in SC/ST sub-plan habitations, only SC/ST candidates belonging to that specific hamlet/habitation are eligible for both Teacher and Helper posts. For centres allocated to SC sub-plan areas, only SC candidates belonging to that Gram Panchayat are eligible. A residence verification certificate issued by the concerned Tahsildar is mandatory. Only certificates issued within one year from the date of this notification will be accepted. Candidates must belong to the roster point (caste/category) specified for that particular post. If a candidate's caste category changes after applying, it will not be considered valid unless supported by a Gazette notification or court order. The notification specifically allows the following categories of disabled candidates to apply: Persons who can hear using a hearing aid. Blind persons who are able to move independently without an escort's assistance. Persons with hand or leg disability who are still capable of performing pre-primary teaching duties or taking care of children without difficulty.

The salary or honorarium for the Anganwadi Teacher and Anganwadi Helper posts is not mentioned in the official notification .

Selection will be made based on the following weightage criteria: For the Helper (Ayah) post, if Intermediate-qualified applicants are unavailable at a location, selection among 10th class-qualified applicants will be made in the same manner.

Candidates must ensure all details filled in the application are accurate and complete. This notification can be fully or partially cancelled or modified by the District Collector/Chairperson, Kamareddy, without prior notice. Only candidates matching the reservation roster point specified for the post are eligible. The notification has been issued with the approval of the District Collector, Kamareddy.
