Proven track record of research and teaching in quantitative methods. Ability to teach courses related to different fields of economics. Familiarity with regulatory policies, economic regulation, public/infrastructure economics, urban policies, natural resource economics, and institutional economics. Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team. Master's degree with 55% marks in Environment, Climate, and Sustainability Studies and related disciplines. Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC, like SLET/SET, OR awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016. Ph.D. obtained from a foreign university/institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU). Desirable Experience: PhD degree in interdisciplinary subjects such as Climate studies, Policy studies, Environmental studies, Energy studies, Development studies and related fields. Excellent academic and publication record. Orientation to social sciences. Ability to teach theory and field-based courses. Experience in research and project opportunities in interdisciplinary themes related to environment, climate change, and sustainability. Ability to teach 2-3 courses per semester, support fieldwork, and supervise master's dissertation. Strong orientation to delivering quality content in climate science/climate modelling, projections/climate extremes/vulnerability and impact assessment/Energy and climate change/Climate policy mitigation/global environmental governance.
