TNPSC CTS Diploma/ITI Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the general eligibility conditions prescribed by TNPSC, including citizenship requirements applicable to Tamil Nadu government recruitments. Admission to the examination is purely provisional and subject to verification of eligibility at every stage. Admission to all stages of the examination is purely provisional, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions; mere admission does not confer any right to appointment. Candidates should choose subject paper(s) only in the discipline where they hold the required educational qualification. Banned items including mobile phones, electronic devices, calculators, books, and loose sheets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. The number of vacancies is tentative and subject to modification before Physical Certificate Verification/Counselling. Candidates not belonging to SC/SC(A)/ST/MBC/DC/BC(OBCM)/BCM with 5 years or more of prior government service are not eligible to apply, even within the age limit. Persons with Benchmark Disability are not eligible for Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade-II and Assistant Manager (Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation) posts. The memorandum of admission (Hall Ticket) will be made available only on the Commission's website and will not be sent by post. Any discrepancy between details in the online application and uploaded documents will result in summary rejection of candidature after due process. The selection for appointment is purely provisional, subject to the final orders in pending court cases before the Hon'ble High Court of Madras and Madurai Bench.
