Eligibility Criteria
Junior Administrative Assistant: Must be a Graduate from a recognized university. Must have a Certificate Course in Computer Word Processing or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university/institute. Must have a typing speed of 40 words per minute on a computer. Senior Computer Assistant: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology, or MCA from any recognized university. As on 10.08.2026, candidates must be: Not below 18 years of age Not more than 40 years of age for candidates of other (general) categories Not more than 45 years of age for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes This age limit applies uniformly to both the Junior Administrative Assistant and Senior Computer Assistant posts.
Selection Process
Phase 1 - Written Screening Test (Objective Type, Duration: 2 hours, 100 Marks) Subjects: English, General Knowledge, Aptitude, Reasoning, Basic Computer Knowledge, etc. Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (relaxable by 10% for reserved category candidates). Shortlisting ratio for Phase 2: 1:3 (i.e., 3 candidates per advertised post, as far as practicable). Phase 2 - Type Test & Written Test (English) Minimum qualifying marks in Phase 2: 60%. Phase 1 - Written Test (Objective Type, Duration: 2 hours, 100 Marks) Subjects: General Knowledge, General English, Current Affairs, Aptitude, Knowledge of Computer Science and allied matters, etc. Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (relaxable by 10% for reserved category candidates). Shortlisting ratio for Phase 2: 1:3 (i.e., 3 candidates per advertised post, as far as practicable). Phase 2 - Viva Voce (Interview) & Skill Test Minimum qualifying marks in Phase 2: 70%. For both posts, if no suitable reserved-category candidate is available, the High Court will first attempt to fill the post from candidates of other reserved categories; if still unavailable, the post will be filled as per applicable rules by candidates outside the ST/SC category.

Disqualification for Appointment
A person is not eligible for appointment to the service if he/she: Is not a citizen of India Has been dismissed from service by the Government, Central Government, High Court, or any statutory/local authority Has been convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude Has more than one spouse living Directly or indirectly attempts to influence the recruiting authority by any means
Required Documents
Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets Age proof / birth certificate Caste certificate (for SC/ST candidates), where applicable Computer certificate course document / typing speed certificate (for Junior Administrative Assistant) No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer, for candidates already in Government service Valid photo identity proof Recent passport-size photograph and signature, as required in the online form Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce original mark sheets, certificates, and documents for scrutiny before appearing in the written test.
Important Instructions
Candidates should avoid submitting multiple applications. If submitted due to unavoidable circumstances, only the application with the latest Registration Number, complete in all respects, will be considered. In case of multiple applications, fees paid against one Registration Number cannot be adjusted against another Registration Number. Candidates already in Government service must upload/obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. Candidates must bear their own expenses for appearing in the selection test. The test centre, time, and duration will be communicated through the admit card. The online application portal will remain open from 10.07.2026 (11:00 A.M.) to 10.08.2026 (5:00 P.M.) for both posts.
